Hucabee is right. Why punish the kids for the crime that the parents did. But if the kids are also illegal then they should not have that right.

I disagree with Huckabee on this one. No matter how you slice it, he is giving illegals benefits that they are not legally entitled to. Huckabee is breaking the law.

Illegals have very few rights and tuition breaks should not be one of them.

He means "anchor babies". All children in the United States are legally considered citizens regardless of the status of their parents. No other nation in the world has this insane policy. This is based on an absurd interpretation of the Fourteenth Amendment, which is about the children of slaves.

Isn't Huckabee referring to illegals who came here as children?

Giving them benefits is another incentive for illegals to make sure they bring a child with them
when they come into this country.  It's a bad idea.

He tries to give people the impression that he's close to Tancredo on ths issue.  But actually, he's at the opposite end of the spectrum than Tancredo.

For the ones who are born in a different country and are brought into the US by their parents illegally, their also considered illegal.  Huckabee wants to give them special benefits.

"Anchor babies" are when they're born in the US.  They should be considered illegal though.

Do you think he's worse than McCain--one of the co-sponsors of the "comprehensive immigration reform" bill--on the issue?

They are equally bad.

What angers me about Huckabee is that he tries to argue that people who don't worship the wets are un-Christian.

That is precisely one of the points I've been trying to make about Huckabee for months.

You know the story about a pastor in Chicago who was giving sanctuary to an illegal from Mexico?

Also, Cardinal Mahoney:   http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=17238

I told Chaim previously about Huckabee twice on the "Ask JTF."   So most people from this forum should know about Huckabee.

He needs to remind people of this while he campaigns.  A lot of his supporters probably don't know anything about his record as governor of Arkansas.

Huckabee is our best hope at a real consertive Hunter and Tancrado are dead and Romney is a fake. Polls also show that Huckabee can win against Hillary. Even better then this Obama is surging in the polls and he is much weaker then Hillary and he doesn't flip flop so we can attack him and it will work better.
