Iran: Use of the word women 'banned from state TV'


Tehran, 29 Nov. (AKI) - The word 'women' must now be replaced on Iranian state television by 'family', reformist Norouz news agency reports.

In programmes broadcast throughout the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against women last Sunday, Iranian state TV used the world family instead.

In recent weeks, Iran's Centre for the Participation of Women changed its name to the Centre for Family Matters.

At the time of former reformist president, Mohammad Khatami, the centre was set up within the president's office.

Khatami was president of Iran from 1997 to 2005.

Boy... how do you replace every instance of the word woman with family in the media?

Pretty soon they'll ban selling all feminine items in markets, other than burqas and wips.

I'm sure replacing word 'woman' with a family is not really alien to Muslims.

For example, -

'Men had sex with a woman' will become 'Man had sex with family'.

This will merely clearly outline to Muslims, that being a sick pedo is simply a beginning. Incest and molestation is where its REALLY at.

There are no women in Iran.  Only very girly men.
