"In the last Republican debate, Hunter attacked Mitt Romney's evil multinational corporation, Bain Capital, for trying to promote the sale of sensitive technology to Communist China. Romney is Huckabee's main opponent right now in Iowa. So Hunter was helping Huckabee by going after Romney. Hunter also issued a press statement after the debate attacking Romney on the Bain Capital-Communist China connection.
I think Hunter may withdraw from the race, and he may endorse Huckabee. Hunter knows that he has a good shot at becoming Defense Secretary if Huckabee is elected."

Hunter would make a great Defense Secretary. But we also must keep in mind that the Defense Secretary works for, and takes orders from, the Commander in Chief.
Huckabee has made some disturbing comments regarding relations with Iran in the past. He's also made some alarming comments about killing Saddam before that mooozie piece of drek was eliminated. Wasting Saddam and eliminating his regime and attempting to replace it with a friendly democratic government is of course an exercise in futility. But Hackabee's comment that 'we shouldn't be killing anybody', should set off an alarm bell.
Hopefully Huckabee has modified his thinking and moved closer to the right and JTF's position. Still, it's a matter of concern, even if he has changed his thinking, because America doesn't need a vacillating President.
Huckabee's emphasis on energy independence demonstrates that he understands the importance of defanging the moooozie beast enemy. I'd like to see him give evidence that he's also prepared to wage unrestrained war when necessary.
Huckabee's sudden rise as a legitimate threat to secure the Republican nomination is making things interesting. Certainly things can change very quickly in politics, but it looks more and more like it might come down to Guiliani and Huckabee.
I could live with either one. Both are good debaters and would give the Hildabeast or Osama Obama a real run for the money.
