We Must Stop Bloomberg

He is highly considering to run as an Independent, this will not help us at all.  It will actually help the Democrats.  All those in NY we contanct all of our local papers, and try our best not to have him to try to step in this.

I don't think Bloomberg is stoppable, but we must try. If he runs the democrats will win for sure.

He most likely will try the Independent 3rd party line, but that would be like Perot.  I hated Bush's dad, but Perot took votes away from him and gave it to Bill Clinton which was even worst.  So with Doomberg thats what you may end up having.

If he is smart he will wait until the 2012 elections and then run as a Republican (God Forbid). Or he may run as an independent and start the race really early.

For him to run at this point would be a waste of his money.

Oreilly the Shmuck named Bloomberg, "The big patriot of the year." How much further from the truth can he be? He might as well call Al Sharpton the same title. I hate Oreilly even compared to his competitors.

In the end, I don't think he'll run.  He has enough money to poll and see if he would really have a realistic chance to win, but I think he'll find at this point it's probably a little too late in the game.  He would make an interesting VP candidate.  I think he's too liberal and a bit idealistic, but I do admire that he built a global empire from nothing and he has given nearly a quarter billion dollars to charity, albeit mostly PC causes.  With the current crop of candidates, however, Bloomberg might not be that bad a choice.

I doubt he'll run.  But he could embarrass himself if he wants.


The person who might run as a 3rd party candidate who would be more of a threat--maybe the libertarian party like in 1988--is Ron Paul.  He's the one who would take some votes away and would give the election to Hillary or Obama.  Liberals want Paul to run as a 3rd party candidate.
