The delusional supporters of his at the FreeRepublic forum are sad about it. They are in so much denial. They blame Huckabee for why Thompson didn't win SC. But they're wrong. Huckabee finished ahead of Thompson by more than 10% in SC.
Thompson had a lot of support in SC after he declared his candidacy. However, regular people (not his delusional supporters) were becoming disappointed with his candidacy so he dropped from being a "front-runner" in SC.
