I have a major problem with the ad at the top of the jtf site about Obama.

Firstly, there needs to be a link to the wordpress blog.  Otherwise people will not find what they came looking for when they typed in "jewsagainstobama.org"  Right now the ad has only a link to the jtf english forum.  It is good to have both linked at the top with this graphic.  We need to get the blog in there.

Secondly, I don't believe it is a good strategy to say in the ad: "Join our historic campaign to save America and Israel from the nightmare of a black Muslim President!"

We don't dislike him because he's black.  We dislike him because of his policies.  And he may be an APOSTATE Muslim, but there is no proof that he still has allegiance to Islam except the circumstantial evidence we show on the blogsite.  To slander him as a Muslim is like an attack.  Let the reader make his own conclusion about that.  It is not worth making our message look bad from the outset, as if we are just labelling him a Muslim as a scare tactic because we are trying to prevent a black president.  That is not what this is about AT ALL.  If anyone is on the fence about Obama or comes across this site, with that ad as it is now, they will think we are a hate group rather than following the link (which is not up there yet) to the wordpress blog to see what we have to say and why a group of Jews and righteous gentiles are against Obama and made a site devoted to it.  Let the material about Obama's beliefs, political connections, and allegiances stand on their own because they are much more powerful than simply labelling him a black Muslim.  The ad hominem plays into the hands of the liberals.

Please try to stay on subject.  Your post really doesn't refute my point.

As to your first sentence, just because many American blacks today are antisemitic does not mean they all are or that a person having black skin automatically deems him a hater.

Well, personally I think that the fact that he is Black (not skin color, but African Ethnicity), he is not suitable to rule a majoritarian anglo-saxon country as America, even if he were the most righteous person in the world and the more clever politician.
In case I happened to live in America and were a good politician, I would never run for a political position there, since I am not ethnically/culturaly like the average Americans.
But we are not here to struggle for personal opinions in the name of the Jewish People. Anyone who speaks for Am Israel must be carefull to avoid anything that could lead others to suspect Jews of racism.

I like the ad the way it stands. This is why: it sends a strong message that we are not a PC crowd. We want to send this message, because people out there are sick of the PC. We want to distinguish ourselves from other lame organizations and movements by saying, basically, "we call them as we see them." This is our strength, this is how we will catch the disaffected voters. Once people see that it is OK not to be PC, the shackles of self-cersorship will begin to weaken. Someone has to start being honest. While there may exist noble and righteous African Americans, the point is that there is a serious concern about the possible anti-white agenda of a black President that is completely justified, because the probability of this anti-white agenda is very high.

We're definitely not Politically Correct, and that's good. However, stating that we oppose a "Black Muslim" President makes it sound like we oppose the idea of a Black President. This has nothing to do with the fact that he is Black. This has everything to do with his positions, his friends, and so forth.

Also, there's no reason to oppose Black Muslims more than any other Muslims. I don't like any Muslims equally, regardless of their Race, Skin Color, and Gender, ROFL!

It does have something to do with race, as well, for those people who don't believe in the idea of a proposition democracy and want to restore America to its European heritage and affirm its Anglo-Saxon Protestant history.

Racist or racialist (ethnic awareness)? It would not sit well with me if an arab became a Prime Minister of Israel, for example. Neither does it sit well with many people that a non-westerner is to become the President of the most powerful Western nation, but they are afraid to say so. The fact that he espouses a radical hate ideology is another matter. However, it is not incidental. His views are mainstream among the American blacks.

I have to agree with the original post.  I fully agree that Obama may have Islamic ancestry but it doesn't matter.  Islam is not Judaism.  You have to believe in it to be a Muslim, and I don't think Obama, as much as I dislike his left-wing policies, is a Muslim.  He's a liberal, a leftist, and a man with no vision or clear policies who just speaks, but he is not a Muslim.

The only good thing I can say about Obama is that he is and always was against the Iraq War.

Racism is a belief in the inferiority of another race, not a feeling of like or dislike. As a Jew, I don't believe it is racist to say that one doesn't like Jews. But saying that they are an inferior race is racism.
