If he is going to those places where the women are underage (especially for that reason), then that's a big big big no no no no no no...
even if they were of age, it isn't as bad, but still a huge bad thing.

Yes, now you guys are on the right track.   His warped morals are his own, and it's not my business to talk him out of it, but I'm a little concerned for him with the Muslims, and I hear the HIV rate there is also up in the stratosphere.

These foreign teaching positions in Asian countries (Japan, Korea, etc..) are becoming quite common, and your friend is going because he doesen't want to work under Jorgé Bush's economy (McDonalds).

Nah but really, Thailand isn't that bad of a place.  I heard the Thai people are pretty hippy, friendly type people.  It's not as dangerous as say, Japan where u got Yakuza everywhere and it's more fast paced.

Yeah, he's told me crazy stories.  He knows another guy that's gone the past few summers.  I can't say it doesn't sound tempting, but if I went it would mess me up in the head, more than I already am, lol.
