Best and Worst U.S. Presidents

In commemeration of President's Day, I thought it would be interesting to to debate and discuss the U.S. leaders we believe have been shaped our country for better and worse. Whether they were founding fathers or modern leaders...Who are your favorites and most disliked and why?

Best: probably George Washington
Worst: a bunch of them, but I'll go for Jimmy Carter.

Best in the 20th century and onwards would probably be Theodore Roosevelt.  Worst would probably be Jimmy Carter.

I vastly disagree. Bush has single-handly destroyed the Conservative cause and made the prospect of a Democrat in the White House immensley possible. His polices on spending, deficits, entitlements, and foreign affairs are straight out of a liberal playbook and easier to inflict, in contrast to Clinton, who would be expected to advance these types of issues.

Best: Ronald Reagan!

Worst: George W. Bush Jr.  - Because no US president in history preached Islam to Americans.  He did (has been doing) the job of tens of thousands of muslim imams.  Millions of Americans have accepted Islam as one of the Abrahamic faiths because of this muslim appeasing president Geroge Bush. It is very very difficult to undo the damage done by George Bush.  He is also the first president who openly advocated to create a "Palestinian" state.

Indeed, FDR is responsible for the relinquishment economic responsibility in the country.  I would say a borderline pure socialist.  If he was able to pack the supreme court bench as he say fit in the late '30s, there is no telling whether this country would have become purely socialist like the USSR.  Adlai Stevenson (of the 1950s) would have loved that !

Note: FDR was the first US president to RECOGNIZE the USSR.  Just to show you where on mount high the presidency stood before Frank the Ruse took office.




Where do you think Woodrow Wilson should be?  He allowed the Federal Reserve to be implemented as well as a federal income tax.

The worst in my opinion was that "peanut farmer" named Jimmy Carter... The great Chaim's observations regarding FDR are also a strong consideration, after reviewing the great Chaim's position, I put FDR in a tie with Carter for worst president... Needless to say, when the great Chaim speaks, we all listen intensely-- very intensely!!...

I think the worst president of the USA was Pancho Villa. All he ever did was run around a horse and shoot guns.

They should call the Iranian Islamic Revolution, the Carter Revolution.   :::D

Also, Jimmy was coincidentally the dumbest president on economic issues as well.  (Although some say FDR was his equal)
