Happy Purim, Shabbat Shalom!

The Staff of The JTF Forum wishes everyone a Happy Purim and Shabbat Shalom! May all the present day Amalek be wiped out as well to mark this Purim! May we all have a joyous Purim Meshulash Weekend (Friday-Sunday).

The forum closing time for Shabbat Shushan Purim Kodesh is 6:05 P.M.. Re-opening time is 8:33 P.M. Motza'ei Shabbat.

Since Purim falls out on a Friday this year, Jerusalem has 3 days of Purim, known as Purim Meshulash, Triple Purim, since Shushan Purim falls out on Shabbat. See http://jtf.org/forum_english/index.php?topic=18149.0 for more information. Also, Seduat Purim (Purim Meal) takes place before Halachic noon this year outside of Jerusalem due to Shabbat. Usually it is held in the late afternoon after Mincha.

This Purim marks 14 years to the day of Baruch Goldstein's holy martyrdom in Isaac's Tomb at The Cave of The Machpelah in Hebron, when he killed 29 modern day Amalekites in the midst of planning to massacre The Jews of Hebron. That was also on a Purim Meshulash Friday.
