It is the longest show ever running in television history.  What is your thoughts on it?

And MWC went off the air as new episodes a long time ago, mean time the animators of the Simpsons continue to produce their shows, the original Simpsons were small clips on the very old Tracy Ulman show.

I think they're running out of ideas.  In one episode, they flashed back to the 1984 Summer Olympics when Marge was pregnant with Lisa, in another episode, they flashed back to the 90's before Bart was even born.  I wonder what would happen should The Simpsons shut down production?

The Simpsons jumped the shark several years ago.  I never looked back.

In thy power Almighty, trusting,
Did our fathers build of old;

To defend, to love, to hold
That the heritage they gave us
For our children yet may be:
Bondsmen only to the Highest
And before the whole world free.
As our fathers trusted humbly,
Teach us, Lord, to trust Thee still:
Guard our land and guide our people
In Thy way to do Thy will.

MWC was groundbreaking at first... but it became predictable and liberal towards the end.  It jumped the shark when Jefferson came in.

The Simpsons was great for the first several years.. but it jumped the shark when they starting inviting all those guest celebrity voices, and also when they killed off Ned flander's wife, and it started becoming viciously anti-Christian.

To me it was better with Jefferson . Steve did not want to be on the show anymore

But steve was funny.  Jefferson was a horrible actor.

I remember when the Simpsons were a part of the Tracy Ullman show as a kid.  The little snippets were the best part of that show, and I remember telling people they should make a show out of it.  I could be another Jewish Hollywood mogul, LOL.  I've seen a couple of episodes through the years, but never got involved with The Simpsons that much though.  It is a great show from what everyone says, and I have enjoyed what I have seen.

i used to be a bigger fan of the Simpsons...Now it's South Park and Family guy as far as cartoons go.
