New Rail Line Planned Along Highway 6
(IsraelNN.com) The Interior Ministry announced Monday that a new north-south rail line is planned to parallel Highway 6, the trans-Israel toll road. The double-track line will include seven stations, including those at Hadera, eastern Kfar Saba and the industrial area near the Ben Gurion airport.
The ministry said the line will reduce the load of the coastal railroad and will encourage the growth and development of suburban communities and new industrial areas.
