First Jerusalem Light Railway Trains On Track

(IsraelNN.com) The first cars of the Jerusalem light railway system have been put on track at the French Hill line, but it may be another two years before residents will be able to use them. The huge project has been plagued by management and financial problems, moving back the completion date to 2010.

Each train car has four double cars, is 32 meters (105 feet) long and can carry up to 250 people.

Underground? Is that safe?? The reason why there in no Subway in Jeruslem is because the damage would be much worse if a bomb went off.
