Baruch HaShem, we are back!

The imbeciles in our hosting company are responsible for the down time. We also have lost two weeks worth of data, including all of our many new members who signed up in the past two weeks.

There was a problem with the air conditioning in the place where our server is stored. So our entire hard drive burned up. We lost all of the data on our hard drive. Shlomo, baruch HaShem, had a backup for the data but the last backup was done two weeks ago. We cannot do backups every day, it is simply too time consuming. It takes an enormous amount of time to upload all of our data once again, especially on the Hebrew forum, where there is much more data because of the HUGE number of posts from our great Israeli members. So we are still uploading the Hebrew forum.

We will overcome this, G-d willing. It will be a small and temporary blip in our march to becoming a mass movement, G-d willing.

I'm so sorry you lost some of your posts! My last backup was from the 6th. Our files are so huge it broke the existing backup software and I've had to do it all by hand these days.

It's not a big deal. This wasn't the first time I lost posts. In other forums I've lost them too.

Every time this forum is down, my heart sinks. I think: "it has started already."

If this forum is forced to close down permanently, where would the members find each other? Is there some blog or some other forum one could go to?

I first thought that it was brought down like Peace Now did, but then I remembered all of the horror stories about the hosting company and their affirmative action employees. Glad to see the forum's back up, and Shlomo, you've come through big for us once again. You're the best!

Its so great to have the sight back. Those shvartza lowlifes who are promoted over and over again at the hosting company were probably on crack when they were on the job. I would be very surprised if the customer service staff at the hosting company was staffed by nice white gentlemen from the bible belt.

Chaim, was this a result of the incompetence of the African Action employees? This is a very unfortunate setback.
