DOES THIS EXPLAIN ABOUT JEWS ?
« on: May 21, 2008, 01:54:25 AM »
Guys, as a gentile, I've been trying to understand why Jews would vote Democratic- and support Obama. I found this on another board, and this gentleman seems to explain it. I found his post very interesting.
What do you think?

"No offense taken. As a Jew who has made a fair amount of money, I believe that if you give politicians money it only encourages them to stay so I never donate to campaigns directly.

The Jews in the Dem party account for something like 40% of all contributions despite being only 3-5% of the party. So mostly what the dems want them for is their money and for candidates who can self-finance.

The dem party has a real conundrum because Obama is buddy-buddy with the radical blacks who have solidified behind him. And despite American white Jews being the disproportionate number of whites participating in the civil rights movement back in the 60s, blacks in America have given Jews virtually ZERO credit for their support, money and their sacrificed lives. Blacks are the most anti-semitic ethnic group in america outside of Arabs. And ‘muslims’ as a whole as virtually entirely Jews haters and a large percentage of american muslims are black (many of which learned it in prison and were radicalized there).j

Jews will be increasingly forced to either stand shoulder to shoulder with people who would rather see them dead or they will be forced to join the GOP. Despite Bush being the most anti-terrorist (and therefore pro-Israel) President in US history, Jews have only gone from about 15% to about 25% support of the GOP when Bush was on or influenced the ballot. Jews, being about 80+% democrat in the US, are more afraid of republicans than the nazis, commies, muzzies and whomever else will attempt genocide and there is virtually nothing the GOP can do to change it.

Unfortunately, most Jews arrived in the US and they became wedded to the idea of ‘social justice’ (essentially, socialism with lawyers) and it is more of a religious edict than the commandments themselves. This upcoming August there will be more Jews at the DNC convention praying to the Obama cult than there will be Jews sitting in synagogues in Denver. Sad. But I’d put money on the table that its statistically true.

Actual religious Jews are infinitely more likely to be GOP voters. They are also infinitely more likely to support the survival and continued existence of Israel as a Jewish state (as opposed to the 40(something)% of US Jews overall which includes mostly liberal Jews who related to Hamas as much as to democracy).

But Obama will be creating all kinds of conflicts in Jewish leftist households because he has so many pro-Hamas people on his advisor list and Israel is the obvious loser in an Obama admistration when having cocktail hour with Ahmedinejad will replace sanctions, threats of force and embargos as our foreign policy.

G-d, it's depressing to be Jewish in America knowing what the rest of them are going to be doing to flush us all down the drain(along with 97% of blacks, 60%+ of hispanics and 99.975% of college professors)."

From what i've been told by my family,

Many of the synagogues they went to in Chicago always advocated voting for a left winger, for some reason, a lot of the Jews living in the city become a product of the environment caught up in civil rights and protection, it's no surprise you have a lot of Jewish groups like the ADL and Jewish American Committee, etc. that try to encourage Jews to vote for leftist leaders. Democrats used to be known as "for the people" and protecting minorities, so naturally it was family history for Jews to vote democrat because they felt those were the people looking out for them. Oh how wrong they could be.

It's no surprise that there are a lot of Jewish leaders who sympathize with illegal aliens and support allowing illegals into the country, one fellow Jewish fellow I spoke to compared it to "Jews being denied citizenship to other countries during the holocaust", well I explained to that jewboy how illegals weren't victims of their own government but coming here to spread their crime and corruption and he still didn't get it.

A lot of leftist Jewish leaders support gun control because they seem to tie everything to nazism. Look at all the Jewish politicians who support the assault weapon ban, they will constantly link it to the original assault weapon being developed in Nazi Germany as the STG44 or better known as the Sturmgewehr 44. They historically link guns with extremeist groups and try to get them outlawed

Leftist Jewish leaders on civil rights, why are they so obsessed with funding schools for minorities and this whole peace now concept? You constantly see them defending gays, lesbians, and transgendered. I swear, it's disgusting. You see so much promotion of feminism and this whole concept of equal rights to the point it's stuffed down our faces.

Unfortunately, I think a lot of Jewish leaders think their doing good things for people, in reality their just causing more hatred for us as a whole and trying to please their own crowd while generating more hate overall. No matter what they do, we will still be hated.

Note that I did say "leftist Jewish leaders"

I think this Jewish commentator's numbers are inflated. The percentage of those who support the Democrats is closer to 67% than to 80+%. I read a recent analysis that said that the majority of young Jewish voters now vote for Republicans. If I find it, I'll post it. But that's a good trend!

But I agree about the "religion" of social justice that has replaced the religion of Judaism among Jews. There was a Russian thinker, Gumilev, who was a terrible antisemite, but many of whose ideas, IMHO, have validity. His idea of "ethnogenesis" was that that there are forces of "passion" - a kind of collective life force - that flare up among certain populations during certain historical periods that make them rise as powerful nations and strong civilizations. Jews have been such "passionaries" (his term) throughout their history. There is some truth to it. Jews, as a group, cannot sit still and lead quiet lives. They always rise and fight for something. Unfortunetely, since a lot of them left Judaism, their energies are misdirected. They fight for social justice, having misunderstood that social justice only makes sense in a religious context, and not as an abstract idea that becomes a fetish. The latter is Utopian thinking.

I noticed that the worst cruelty and totalitarian oppression comes from Utopian thinkers. If the others don't subscribe to their idea of justice and social engineering then they must be crushed. If you refuse to march enthusiastically and voluntarily into the happy future, you must be dragged. They only want for everyone to be happy. But if people "refuse to be happy," then they must be evil and perverse. Such people must be crushed. So they start with the noble idea of wanting to make everyone happy, but they always end up with unleashing rivers of blood.

Problem is lot of Jews in America see the GOP as "Christian" party; and Masha have the good point that religius values outside of religion (and common sense) create extreme utopism and totalitarism; communism was seen as meashianic movement by gentile members raised in christian homes too, in fact the next generation in soviet union raised in pure atheist enviroment lacked the zeal of first bolshewiks, after death of Stalin the marxist "faith" become mere ritual Now you'll find more comies in USA, Israel or west Europe than in Russia ::). Now the civil and secular religion of "humanism" is buncrupting too so we'll see soon the rivival of faith in the west. It's only valid alternative to iSSlam.
Jeremiah 8:11-17

11 They dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious. Peace, peace, they say, when there is no peace.

12 Are they ashamed of their loathsome conduct? No, they have no shame at all; they do not even know how to blush. So they will fall among the fallen; they will be brought down when they are punished, says the LORD.

13 'I will take away their harvest, declares the LORD. There will be no grapes on the vine. There will be no figs on the tree, and their leaves will wither. What I have given them will be taken from them.'

14 Why are we sitting here? Gather together! Let us flee to the fortified cities and perish there! For the LORD our God has doomed us to perish and given us poisoned water to drink, because we have sinned against him.

15 We hoped for peace but no good has come, for a time of healing but there was only terror.

16 The snorting of the enemy's horses is heard from Dan; at the neighing of their stallions the whole land trembles. They have come to devour the land and everything in it, the city and all who live there.

17 See, I will send venomous snakes among you, vipers that cannot be charmed, and they will bite you, declares the LORD.

I think 80 percent is a realistic number, majority of the Jews are in the city, just find out who their voting for. Hopefully that number will change soon.

The politicians want money from them so that's why Pelosi will pretend to support Israel every once in a while.

Nobody declares those ultra-liberals as "leaders."  They declare themselves as leaders and receive a false sense of credibility from people who don't know any better.

Here's a two-page article:

http://www.weeklystandard.com/Content/Public/Articles/000/000/004/833ifcua.asp

A couple excerpted paragraphs:

"THEREIN LIES the explanation for why American Jews refuse obstinately to accept that the Democratic party's train, which they've ridden since FDR (whose reputation among Jews was less earned than awarded), is now carrying them toward some perilous destination. Sadly, by the time they realize that Harry Truman and Scoop Jackson have given up their conductor seats to Michael Moore and International Solidarity, it'll be too late to get off.

American Jews' allegiance to Democrats is nothing less than a religion. And conversion is considered a sacrilege. "

You are making a tremendous error in judgement when you apply today's realities and events to those of any other decades in American history.

Example:  Today's GOP wants Jews to vote for them.

The GOP of the 1960's was one of which a man named Baker (sound familiar) was quoted as saying "F--k the Jews!...They don't vote for us anyway."

The decades of the forties and fifties was one in which the GOP actively discriminated against Jews in every walk of life, from jobs to Party membership.

And, the Democrats of those years were in no way comparable to the same Democrat Party today.

Those old time Democrats despised Communism and were pro-American.

They were liberal...true...but in those days "liberal" meant someone who believed that Jews should be allowed in Universities and Medical Schools; as opposed to their political opposition, which was dead set on excluding Jews, Catholics, Italians, Greeks, and others.

Wake up!

Stop judging all of history as if history only began last week.

To do so is as fatal to this country as will be an Obama Presidency, because you will be incapable of speaking truth to anyone if you yourself don't know what the is truth.
