What is your opinion of the Bahai religion
« on: May 21, 2008, 11:25:27 AM »
What i have learned is that it is a religion which was created to replace Islam. Muslims feel that Muhammed was the last prophet, but Bahaists believe some other Muslim guy that came later was the last prophet.

They do not believe in bearing arms.

If someone says something bad about you, say something nice about them. That way, both of you would be lying.

They have been persecuted and almost eliminated by Islam especially in Iran, mainly due to their firm belief of their founder Bahaullah being the next Prophet after Mo.

However they don't dare to go back and refresh their conversion drive at Iran or at any other muslamic country. Rather they eagerly try to convert other simpleton non-muslims to their Bahai faith.

The worst thing about them is that Mo is among their prophets, so actually they are a variant of Muslamics.

However it appears that they have never initiated or involved in any violence, albeit this may not override the Mo factor.

With Regards... :)

They are genuinely pacifist and they refrain from proselytizing in Israel, they are even not allowed according to their rules to take permanent residence in Israel.

It's creepy that they actually consider Mo as a prophet, however they are not muslims, they are completely heretic to Islam since According to Mo himself he is the last of the prophets and no prophet would ever come after him.

Personally have some contempt to such religions which, I think, are mostly concerned in getting as many "donations" as they can from their flock. if I'm not mistaken they actually tax their community  but since they keep to themselves I don't care.

What about Sufis? Have they ever been violent at all?

Sufi's are/were precursors of violent Islam. Firstly Sufi's influenced an outer area with their so-called peaceful methods and hymns. Then after passing a critical threshold, the Muslamic invaders attacked and massacred, plundered and captured the same area under some Islamic pretext or other. Whenever the retaliations occurred, the Sufi peaceful preachings again stood as a shield for protection of Islam.

Wherever and whenever Islam gets firm roots, Sufism automatically gets displaced by Talibanism and Bahabism types of extremists and terrorism.

In view of the above, Bahai's appear to be the grand-children of Sufi's.

This cult is dangerous!

The central ethic points of this "religion" are under others:

Creating one language for the world

Installing an international court for the world

Socialism

Never completed revelation: Religion is forever in development

World peace

etc.

Their headquarters are in Israel, mount Carmel Haifa.

I would recommend the to-be-installed Kahanist Israeli government to expel this religion.
Turkey must get out of NATO. NATO must get out of Kosovo-Serbia. Croats must get out of Crajina. All muslims must get out of Christian and Jewish land. Turks must get out of Cyprus. Turks must get out of "Istanbul". "Palestinians" must get out of Israel. Israel must become independent from USA.

I was watching some Youtube videos of the dervishes last night. I thought it was kind of neat but I knew there had to be a catch somewhere. A thought kept running through my mind "There are no moderate Muslims".

Bahaism isn't a sect of Islam, it's a completely different religion.  They believe in the validity of all religions, which is completely opposed to any version of Islam which believes that Islam is the true religion.  They also believe in the equality of women and the cooperation of religion and science, which is the opposite of Islam.  Bahai's aren't as bad as Muslims. Bahais are probably one of the most peaceful religious groups on the planet.  Any comparison to actual Islamisists fails to recognize how bad Islam actually is, or fails to have sufficient knowledge of Bahaism to make a comparison.
"The Jews will eventually have to face up to what you're dealing with here.  The arabs will never love you for what good you've brought them.  They don't know how to really love.  But hate!  Oh, G-d, can they hate!  And they have a deep, deep, deep resentment because you have jolted them from their delusions of grandeur and shown them for what they are-a decadent, savage people controlled by a religion that has stripped them of all human ambition . . . except for the few cruel enough and arrogant enough to command them as one commands a mob of sheep.  You are dealing with a mad society and you'd better learn how to control it."

I tend to go with this point of view...since i don't know too much about the religion, despite the fact that it derived itself from Islam, doesn't allow me to judge it from a secular point of view.

However, whatever theology I know of it to have..I disagree with it.
