Even if Barack Hussein Obama ends up winning New Jersey, if he has to invest significant time and money into the Garden State, that can only help John McCain in one or more other battleground states.
That's an excellent point. That would usually be a state that's in the democrat's back pocket. Even if we fail to swing the state with our push, we can help divert his resources toward attempting to win it.
Chaim, as some others brought up this idea, I think an appearance at the Orthodox shuls in NJ would be an EXCELLENT way to reach out to the Jewish voters AND to spread word about JTF/hayamin haamiti. If packaged right, it could really open people's eyes. ie bringing up the point that JNF steals Jewish money and uses it for nefarious purposes (buys land for arabs instead), other Jewish 'federation' type charities doing a lot of nothing, nobody helping the "troops on the ground" the footsoldiers in Judea and Samaria, except us. That can go a long way. And of course to encourage people not to vote for Obama. But often visitors from out of town can be advertised in the Shabbos bulletin, maybe for a motzei shabbos talk (although in the summer like this, shabbos is ending pretty late, so this might not be best).
If the talk is really good, you can encourage people to make out a check, maybe have a small item you can sell, related to Kahanism. I have seen people sell their books this way.
But otherwise it is certainly a good in-your-face kind of way to spread the JTF roots into NJ area and get two birds with one stone by campaigning against Obama in a potential swing state.
