Basically, primitive, superstitious beliefs are prevalent among savage peoples. They have no morality to speak of, whatsoever. I like when Paulette talked about Victorians. A Victorian would automatically see this as savagery and want to put a stop to it. They would want to civilize these people or at least put a stop to this obvious barbarism. However, today's PC police are actually advocating for the death of these babies:

This liberal is basically saying that it's ok to murder innocent children and no justice should be brought in these types of situations. I guess as long as it's not his baby, he doesn't care. To him, the value of a human life is 0.
The Suzukis begged Funasa, the Brazilian government's health department, to let them take Hakani out of the tribe to get medical help.
