I am one who hopes to see Obama defeated in the upcoming election in November. Because of this I seek out others who share my desire to save the country from the embarrassment and eventual degradation which will occur if Barak Hussein Obama {BHO} should win. There are many reasons why Obama is not suited to be president of this country. As we will see none of the good reasons involves his race or religion.
Obama is one, if not THE, most liberal senators in the United States. This is born out from a simple investigation of his voting records. As a partisan liberal he most certainly will be biased in voting for many far reaching government programs which will cost the taxpayer. BHO has already discussed raising the taxes to pay for many of this projects, and it is certain that this is just the tip of the iceberg for government spending.
While we must admit GW Bush was not the most fiscally conservative republican in history. He has increased spending while decreasing taxes, something which increases the deficit. I have always believed that deficits are OK as long as there is growth in the basic economic data. We are in dangerous financial times with the dollar at an all time low, and oil at historic values. I believe raising taxes would have a very negative effect on the American economy.
Another reason Obamas liberal and sometimes socialist or communist leanings may end up moving toward fascism. Democrats are already talking about nationalizing the oil industry. What other industries will the American government take over next? Obamas good friends with ex-terrorists who have attacked this country both physically and spiritually.
Obamas association with the church of Rev. Wright was very revealing. It is not comprehensible to sit in a congregation for twenty years and have a relationship with the pastor without knowing his radical anti-american ideology. I am aware of what the Rabbis I associate with think politically and I disassociate with the Rabbis who are left leaning self-haters. But no Rabbi I ever listened to has cursed this country of ours like the Rev. Wright did. I will never forgive him for what he said.
What is most important for the next administration to address is the topic of national defense against a terrorist threat. This is one of Obamas weakest areas because he has already demonstrated his naiveté in his statements concerning Iran. Most straight thinkers see a threat from a nuclear Iran and will support any action which stops or delays this. Obama doesnt think we should tell Iran what to do, or else we need to ask really nicely...
In the end the strength we start with is the innate weakness with the Democratic candidate. It is well known that most Conservatives are not fond of McCain. And it is true most JTF readers seem to be apathetic about the entire system. But there are positives which we must hold up and examine.
I feel the McCain will be strong against the terrorist threats. I hope that his position on protecting the border will move more to the right {wall, more border patrol, no amnesty}. McCain will appoint more conservative judges which will prevent all kinds of nightmares {including national gay marriage}.
I am sure that there are others here who have some good ideas to put out there. I look forward to reading some of your thoughts.
