Who are your heros?
« on: August 11, 2008, 12:00:04 AM »
That post about Paris Hilton really irritated me.  I've always had good heros, and the fact that this pig is adored by so many is revolting.  I'd like to know who my fellow JTFers look up to, who they admire, in short, who inspires them.

Who are your heros?  Mine are Terry Fox, Mordechai Anielewicz, and Rabbi Kahane.

Adam Smith, Ludwig von Mises, and Tom Tancredo.

Tancredo is the only one in congress who has the spine to say Islam isn't a religion of peace, unlike Juan McCain who says its a beautiful religion, even though its "prophet" was a pedophile.

Joshua, David, Paul and of course Shamgar. In more recent times, The Cisco Kid, John Wayne, and Ronald Reagan and most all American soldiers.

I liked that show. We need to have a SCI-Fi Channel thread on this forum.

All members of the military indeed.  We waste too much time worshiping ball players and celebrities, when these are the bravest of the brave.

Tina Greco claimed to have worked with him.

She said he was very liberal.

That's funny that she would have said that. Most Australians I've spoken to cringe when I mention him. lol

I'm sure he was very liberal but I never saw him as a political figure except in promoting conservation of biodiversity.

They cringe because he acted campy to appeal to kids and kids at heart. I wish he would have survived.
