what do you think about asian culture?
There are a lot of different Asian cultures. I hate the fact that Koreans eat dogs, and I've heard stories about cats being put live into pots of boiling water, which really breaks my heart when I think of my own cats and know those are just as sentient. I get really pissed off at the Japanese for killing whales. There is no humane way to hunt a whale. They're so large that it's always a painful, messy operation. Shark fin soup is also another horror. They cut the fins off of live sharks and then dump them alive, in pain, and bleeding, back into the water to suffer and die.I also think it's really sick how they killed off most of the Tigers throughout Asia. They used to roam all over Asia, including China, etc. now they're very rare, and even threatened in India and Sumatra. In China a lot of flu viruses originate because of the filthy practices they have in their marketplaces involving eating sick animals.
I hate that Vietnam and North Korea and China have evil governments.
There are also a lot of good things about Asian culture but I couldn't mention that without the bad stuff.
Japan is for Japanese people primarily, even though they have others there for business or as tourists, it's still almost all Japanese, and they strive to keep their culture and people. They even have Japanese-only establishments and it's completely legal. I think that's wonderful. I also like a lot of Japense animation . They really do a better job than most American animators at creating a compelling story. I also think they're just fantastic in how come up with so many electronics and robotics. My dad said when he visited Japan that the streets were much cleaner than here in America because the shop owners would clean the streets outside their shops before opening every morning and that the people weren't as prone to just throw trash everywhere. He said they made Americans look like slobs.
I love some of the mythology of Asian cultures such as the stories about Eastern dragons being slightly different in each culture. There are a lot of interesting things from China and Southeast Asia and Japan.
Most of the Asian-Americans I've met, no matter what country they're from, tend to be hard working, nice people with good values. They don't commit very much crime either.
