The case for blowing the crap out of Iran now
« on: February 05, 2007, 01:59:49 AM »
Deterrence won't work. Iran is "governed" by a madman. With the Democrats scrambling to do whatever possible to prevent war, any crazy man who makes the rest of us believe he's willing to go to war wins, every time. And what we are dealing with in Iran is far beyond "crazy." It's an erratic, irrational leader of a nation of radical followers who view death as their highest calling- a guaranteed entrance into Paradise. Who can fight against that? Reasonable, rational diplomacy won't work...ever. And neither will deterrence, because they are not afraid to strike first or to retaliate, nor are they afraid of our retaliation, for that will only accelerate their entrance into the land of many "black-eyed virgins."

Do we want to wait until Iran has warheads that can reach Europe and arguably the United States? The time to act was yesterday.

Here is a quote taken from the National Security Strategy for the United States of America found here: http://www.whitehouse.gov/nsc/nss.pdf

"The gravest danger our Nation faces lies at the crossroads of radicalism and technology. Our
enemies have openly declared that they are seeking weapons of mass destruction, and evidence
indicates that they are doing so with determination. The United States will not allow these
efforts to succeed. We will build defenses against ballistic missiles and other means of delivery.
We will cooperate with other nations to deny, contain, and curtail our enemies’ efforts to acquire
dangerous technologies. And, as a matter of common sense and self-defense, America will act
against such emerging threats before they are fully formed. We cannot defend America and our
friends by hoping for the best. So we must be prepared to defeat our enemies’ plans, using the
best intelligence and proceeding with deliberation. History will judge harshly those who saw this
coming danger but failed to act. In the new world we have entered, the only path to peace and
security is the path of action."

The sad part is that Iran was a threat even before the Iraq war. Chaim pointed that out on the jtf website and in his broadcasts, and yet nobody listens until it's too late. Due to his failed administration policy's George 'Wahabi' Bush might have laid the groundwork for the next terrorist attack for this country courtesy of Iran.

One thing for certain Chaim was right on Iraq and Iran on all levels. Although it may be the last thing the American people want I can't help feeling events in Iraq will cause us to act forcibly against Iran in a very short span of time. As things stand now it is impossible for America to ever leave that region with Iran in the position it is now and not expect Iran to completely dominate both countries and possibly most of that region. The United States simply can not allow that to happen being Iran would then be in control of a large percentage of the worlds oil supply. The fact that the United States moved some aircraft carriers into the Gulf plus the fact that Bush is pushing for this surge may mean that they may be ready to put some real pressure on Iran. Put a crimp in Iran and more than likely things will settle down in Iraq.

Great to finally meet a Californian board member who isn't a leftist nutball.

Anyway, you are absolutely right. Ahmadinejad is getting away with murder because he knows the rest of the world is too pansy to lift a finger against him.

Obviously action is needed on Iran, but let it not be another wool headed invasion. Israel and India are more than a match for what surrounds them if only they have the will to act. Combined with a rational use of United States forces, there is absolutely no threat in that region that couldnt be dealt with very quickly and very effeciently.

But the will to do it is what is required. No more occupations, no more invasions. Air and naval strikes for existing threats and energy independence to pull the rug out from under the entire muslim nazi financial life support system for terror.

Ahmadinejad----hmmm what were his parents thinking when they gave him such a name? :)

Seriously, can't the FBI or CIA figure it out. I mean they have access to the most advanced technology around, couldn't they wangle their little fingers into the Iranian goverment-undercover that is, as arabs. Then try and disrupt its plans internally and not just its nuclear schemes. Madmen always fall in the end. Look at hitler and saddam and all the other dictator/evil world leaders. His time is coming. Thats why you should never enter the world of politics and ruling, the unexpected lays ahead, yet we need it to thrive.

Are the articles that were written by Chaim, available on the site to read?
