This has more to do with his blindly trusting exile anti-communist Croatian priests. While he was not an intellectually coherent Catholic, he valued his Catholic identity such that he would not believe the crimes Croatian Catholics committed.

His source of information in the 80's was an Ustashi priest. When the conflict started, he simply believed the Croatian propaganda because it fit in with his previous beliefs.

The son just believes what his father believes.

Are Americans really so dumb as to believe this simplistic propaganda? ???
Dont Americans find it a little insulting that the politicians think that their own people are  so stupid??

It is not just that people are stupid. It is that the politicians are stupid.

The important thing to remember is that for the West and especially America, the Balkans is a far-away land of which they need to know nothing. That means they have little historical background and that in turn leaves them open to propaganda.

Orthodox  Christianity is a Jew hating, anti-semitic religion.  I don't care how you try to cover it up.. I know what you people preach  about us killing ur Greek G-d Zeus Jesus.

I don't agree that these politicans are that stupid, but rather very greedy and are willing to believe any lie as long as there is money to be made.

note- Your spelling of chauvinism is wrong. It's with a C.  Your misspelling may be based on how you spell or transliterate the equivalent word in serbia. But the english word is spelt with a C.
