Huckabee and Rudy are both good speakers. What a ticket they would have made. Guiliani looks almost as good as Palin in a dress.

I am not watching but I just got a phone call from my wife. She says that the Guiliani speech is very moving. I will watch the re-run tonight when I get home. I am still at work and wont be home for another hour.

It is definitely worth watching. If he had spoke this well a year ago, he might have been where McCain is.

When he said, "change is not a destination just like hope is not a strategy." One of the best lines I've seen delivered. That's the Rudy who would have won if he had stayed that way.

He wanted to keep ferrets banned in NYC. I don't know why, they're not vicious animals and the vast majority of pets are fixed. They might even help with NYC's rat problem. Hey maybe that's why he's scared of them! Seriously though, he's pro-gay, pro-abortion, and if anyone forgot, he dresses up as a woman, and really really seems to enjoy it.

How can McCain reach out to conservatives when he's got someone like that speaking at his convention?

I'll give him one thing he did a good job of supporting Palin. That doesn't mean I have to like him though.
