the dems were hoping for a cake walk for Bongo, they planned this for 2 years and got derailed by the Alaskan Fireball.   8;)

Obama is mentally shaken by what happened with Sarah Palin. After months and months of thinking this election was in the bag, he finds his lead to have dissipated within a week. He isn't his normal cool confidant self, and its hurting poll numbers.
