It was in my early thirties that I began shifting politically and socially to the right.
While I looked into some liberal ideas I was never really a liberal, so does that mean I have no heart? I've always been really conservative.
Seeing Chaim speak on public television is what started the shift for me.
The mere fact that you even looked into liberal ideas (whether or not you accepted them) suggests to me that you are a compassionate person, with a good heart.
I was a liberal until I noticed on left-wing forums everyone hated Jews and Israel including liberal Jews. I also then listened to Savage and Mr Chiam and I am now very conservative.
