Arabs Plan New Town in Samaria

(IsraelNN.com) Arab businessmen plan to build a new city in the Samaria region, between Ramallah and Shechem. The Arab developers revealed their plan on Tuesday, in a meeting with American Ambassador Richard Jones and other top officials.
The plan was received with enthusiasm by American and Israeli officials. Among those present was Defense Minister Amir Peretz, who expressed his support for the plan. His support for the new Arab town stands in contrast to his feelings for Jewish towns in Samaria, several of which he plans to destroy
