This post is especially intended for white liberals who think that electing BHO will finally mollify black rage/resentment and and bring them into the mainstream of society:

"The best time for a national conversation on race is when he's president," Bill Perkins, a New York state senator from Harlem and early Obama supporter, said Saturday, expressing a widely held view among Democrats."

In other words, even after Osama is President and is the most powerful man on earth (G-d forbid) our society will still need to address racial discrimination. This means that there will never be an end to affirmative action and set asides as long as blacks (and white liberals) perceive any disparity in achievement between blacks and whites.

So, if you are considering voting for Obama because of white guilt and to promote racial harmony guess again: buyer beware!

Mr. McCain's experience in national security exceeds Mr. Obama's by orders of magnitude.

I saw a video in which Rev. Manning asked the black community why it feels so inferior to whites, so much so in fact, that they demand affirmative action.  It's a very good question.  By demanding affirmative action, blacks are implicitly admitting that they cannot compete with whites, and the only way for them to make it in this world is to have the deck stacked in their favour.

Let us hope though that this "conversation" never takes place (i.e. that Osama does not get elected)!

If everyone lived in their own communities then there would be a lot less discrimination.
