I just spent a few days in downtown Rochester, NY.
It sounds like you are having the same experience I did.
Do you hear police sirens all throughout the night?

I did.
I felt like I was in the movie Planet of the Apes.
When the plane touched down, on the return trip, people yelled out 'return to civilization'. Take Cyberella's advice. Stay safe in your room. One cab driver told us no one walks around after 5pm. Let's defeat Obama...or the whole country will look like Detroit or Rochester.

lol...that pink monkey! now Rochester is like that? I was there many years ago, went to the racetrack....it was nice there. now it's a wasteland. shvatzas wreck everything. imagine what the White House will be like after Obama and all his Hollywood lunatics trash the place. they'll have to have a temporary White House for the next president. i hope i don't live to see it. unreal how all our cities are ruined.

Also, perhaps you can order something in from room service, or from a decent restaurant nearby. Then expense it.

You can tell that Rochester was once a very beautiful city.

Oh my God ! The African City of Detroit !!
A good way to pass the time would be to log onto youtube & type in "Detroit Ghetto". It is a safe way to "tour" Detroit without being cannibalised !

I'm going to go and put my head under a rock. I wanted to move back East because I've had enough of this Hollywood $hit. It was okay when I was out of the house, single, working, etc.

I see property taxes in Westchester County are the highest in the nation. Real estate was built and all I saw was darkened bldgs. with no buyers in SW Florida approx. 6 months ago (not that I would ever live there,) but I really want to leave California....I can't stand Marin Cty. where they renamed a town with a population of (55) to "Obama," that's N. Cal. which I hate, but I don't hate S. Cal. it's just i would like to get away from the show biz idiots forever.
