I thought McCain did better than Obama, though I agree that he missed a few opportunities to hit Obama hard. I have no appreciation for all this "politeness" and I would have liked to have seen McCain call Obama a stupid idiot just once. Wouldn't that have been nice? Had McCain said, "I'm sorry Jim. I can't debate with this moron. He's beneath me." I would have loved to see that.
By the way, to hear all of the media spin it in Obama's favour made me nauseous.
That would have hurt McCain, especially as they've been trying to portray Obama as the arrogant one.
I agree with you! I'm no politician, but the ads are for attacking him. During the debate, when McCain said more than once, "Sen. Obama does not understand," and then he went onto say, "Sen. Obama doesn't understand the difference between a strategy and _____ whatever the word was, i forgot.
It doesn't matter how good McCain is. He is a Republican. Morons interviewed by Frank Luntz, a pollster, who conducted a poll in Nevada, got this response from the undecideds [in my view, indecisive. how hard is it to see who the good guy is. that's how dumb most of these voters are. why would anyone want to live under a dictatorship. this rat wants to change the constitution to suit his socialist, Marxist, belief system:
"He was antagonistic [McCain.] there were more idiotic statements but i can't remember them.
McCain was probably tired from working on the bailout. He's 72. Obama is a much younger man.
McCain and Palin have a tough opponent. He is devious and i'm exhausted from this, can you imagine how they must be feeling, fighting off attacks non-stop.
