Haniyeh (ym"sh) says economic crisis is divine punishment!!!

My question is where is his punishment.  My guess is that we are meant to bring it to him.

A Hamas leader said the U.S economic crisis is "divine punishment."

At a sermon Friday at a Gaza City mosque, Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said God was punishing the United States for its support of the Israeli-led blockade on Gaza, The Jerusalem Post reported. Haniyeh said that God's retribution would also affect U.S. allies.

If America is being divinely punished it's definitely NOT because America supports Israel, but it could be because America was complicit in this evil "peace process" which harms Israel.

I'm not saying that we can read God's mind, but I will say this. If we don't believe God is on the side of Zionism (in the true sense as Chaim defines it) then this board wouldn't exist.

I'm not saying that we can read G-d's mind, but I will say this. If we don't believe G-d is on the side of Zionism (in the true sense as Chaim defines it) then this board wouldn't exist.

Gd is on the side of zionism because of all the miracles since the Shoah...but certain specific things, we have to be careful to characterize it as Gd's actual desire..rather, we can suggest that certain things were Gd's will but without saying why it was Gd's will..  So let's say, you miss a bus...you can say, "Oh it was Gd's will that I don't catch that 9:00 bus...who knows what the reason is...He wanted me to be on the 9:30 bus instead..."
