Joe Lieberman

Sometimes he would be seen at McCain's rallies.

Rather than having him there, McCain's campaign could have had him
speak to Jewish voters who vote for Democrats.

Does anyone know if Joe Lieberman made any attempt to convince Jewish voters to support McCain?

No, that would make too much sense.

So did McCain's campaign waste him?  They could have used him to diminish the gap among Jewish voters.

I'm referring to liberals.  He probably could have convinced some of them to support McCain.

Lieberman isn't exactly a powerful motivator.

Lieberman isn't exactly a powerful motivator.

A lot of Jewish Democrats have probably never voted for a Republican.  This was probably the first time that Lieberman was supporting a Republican for president.  Therefore, he could have spoke to liberals to explain to them that they would be fine if they didn't vote for a Democrat.
