I'm wondering if anyone has heard about how much people are spending now that Obama is elected. Are sales everywhere dropping because people are now afraid to spend money?

I'm keeping my eyes on oil prices. Overall, it will be interesting to see the economic impact of Obama. we really want know for some time.

I'm actually going to save money now! No more cable TV (which saves about 100. a month, because hubby wanted premium channels too)...I'm not buying anything unless I absolutely need it, just food, basics, etc

No more buying DVDs of movies (Hollyweird supported Obama and I don't want to give them $$ anymore OR let their liberal filth take up residence in my head or my kids' heads).

Only things I'm spending on are books, Tshirts, etc against Obama; donating to anti-Obama causes; internet access.

I'm with you on that one Jewish American Patriot. We are waiting for the Fairness Doctrine, then we are getting rid of cable, I will refuse to watch TV after that. we are refusing to go to the show too. I refuse to support anyone that voted for Obamanation.

Its more than just boycotting anyone who supported Obama. We need to break the entire conomy by not buying anything beyond basic needs. I've had to do this before for other reasons, I can get by on bare bones if I need to!

We need to make this country UNGOVERNABLE so that people rise up and overthrow him!

The stock market went down around 400 points today. So am I right in assuming that this says something about investors' confidence in an Obama Presidency? If they were happy and confident, wouldn't the market have soared today?

The media covered for him today again. They said it was a sign of a bad economy. No mention of Obama today.

My point exactly! The media covered for him today, as they will do in perpetuity. He will not be able to do any wrong, no matter what happens, according to them. The press will never be as biased as it will be during the Obama Presidency.

This is the basic strategy:

Pull all money out of the banks NOW

Do not spend any money beyond what you absolutely need to survive.

If this new govt sends out stimulus checks to try to bolster the economy, don't spend it, SAVE it.

For holidays/birthdays after 1/20, give homemade gifts as much as possible to avoid spending money in the system.

If you need to spend money on any big ticket items, make it guns and gold.

Spread the word.

We need to show that this man cannot govern...and by doing all this, we make that task so much easier.

BUT do not do it until 1/20! We don't want it to look as if Bush is the cause.

The media is already saying that Bush made such a mess of the economy that it will take Obama "years to fix it. Maybe more than one term." HINT HINT reelect Obama. They are already setting up excuses for Obama before he even is in the White House. The reality is that the leftist Senate and Congress did a whole lot more to ruin the economy than Bush, but that has never been mention once. McCain never brought that up in his debates, but instead insisted "well I'm not Bush." In other word McCain said Bush is messed up and me and him are both Republicans who agree pretty much on all the same things, but thing will be different under me. No one bought that. His best strategy would have been to attack the Congress, Senate, the media, and the top administrators of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and say they are responsible, not Bush.
