Things to think about over Shabbat
« on: November 28, 2008, 03:31:03 PM »
This has been an interesting week. We just celebrated Thanksgiving and enjoyed a wonderful meal and blessings and praise. And we also witnessed our enemy perpetrating a destardly and evil plan against Jews and Westerners in India. I pray that we all have some Shabbat peace as we read Parsha Toldot which tells us of the birth of Jacob, and his evil twin Essau.

I believe we are at a critical juncture in world history. The Jewish people must remain strong in our faith and to follow the wisdom we received at Sinai. We cannot allow the Erev Rav amongst us {yes these are the peace now Israelis} to deceive us with double talk and philosophical mental gymnastics. It is Shabbat and we must give thanks to Hashem for creating the world, and for releasing us from our bondage in Mitzrayim. Our culture is destined to survive against the enemy because Hashem promised our forefathers.

Every Jewish soul should open up a Chumash and read from our portion of Shamayim. The answers can be found; we must seek them and toil in Torah.

Shabbat Shalom!

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities
Duet 16:13-14
