That is very sad.
Get plenty of rest.
Get plenty of exercises as well.
I find that exercise makes you feel much better than just laying there which makes you feel sick.
Exercise uses the lungs , so don't be so sure about "plenty of exercise".
Another issue with exercise , is in the winter, if a joint is a bit stiff, then you don't want sudden impacts on it either , so even feet should be warm. And when ill, the body is fighting, you need rest..
She isn't sick from doing nothing.
According to this site
http://www.answers.com/topic/bronchitisit says aerobic exercise can be beneficial..
However, remember, we live in a culture that thinks exercise is always beneficial, simply because benefits outweigh costs, and it's an easy thing to ease the obese culture, and they overlook all issues with it.. Even running can cause heart problems. (or knee problems if like many people you walk with feet a bit overpronated, or are a bit flat footed - some don't know it but they are. So there are issues).. It may be that in early stages of bronchitis exercise should be avoided, that's just a guess. But don't fool yourself into thinking it's always beneficial. I recently saw a program where people with serious sports injuries like broken bones were going into hospital and the staff were saying those were "good injuries" because at least it means they are exercising!! That's the crazy mentality nowadays. You have to be aware of the risks. Exercising when ill could be incredibly silly. I'm sure Lisa knows that though.
