What should the US do about GITMO?

Barack Obama has stated that he plans to shut down the Guantanamo base (surprise surprise).  This is not as easy as it sounds.  There are hundreds of suspected terrorists being held there.  What is the US supposed to do with all of them.  Well if Hussein Obama gets his way, they will either be tried in criminal court (at the tax payer's expense) or they will be released.

In my opinion, they are not entitled to due process (terrorists never are).  And if they are released, they will no doubt resume their terrorist activities.  So releasing them is no good and holding them in American prisons is no good.  What should be done with them?

My solution would certainly not be popular with the Leftist crowd.  Any thoughts?

Didn't 61 of the released ones go back to the battlefield?  The US should have got the information they needed and then turn them over to their respective countries.  Give the Chinese Muslims back to China and the Algerian Muslims back to Algeria.  Then we don't have to worry about them and waste the bullets that will be used on them.  Any Americans caught on the battlefield fighting against America should be tried in the field like in the American Revolution and executed quickly and humanely.
