There are a lot of fringe parties that most people will never hear about. You have to be a republican or democrat to get most seats of power in the United States.

I know plenty of Nazism in the US, obviously because we have 302 million people, the higher population means we are going to have more Nazi groups.

The most well known/popular groups are KKK (Ku Klux Klan), National Socialist Movement, and the Aryan Brotherhood.

Neither are much a threat because of their decline, the KKK is in a huge decline and is reduced to a militia movement in rural areas mainly, they are no where near what they were years ago. NSM is not taken seriously, Aryan Brotherhood is primarily a prison gang and most Nazis would call them race traitors.

There are other movements that are serious threats but perhaps not as well known

National Alliance by Dr William Pierce. This is the organization responsible for publishing the Turner Diaries and they generally hijack movements that are conservative to recruit members blaming Jews on illegal immigration and gun control, etc.

National Vanguard, similar to NA

StørmFrønt (not really a organization but a meeting point for white nationalists)

Blood & Honour/Combat 18 based out of Florida and the UK, they are a more militant group mainly skinheads

WAR (White Aryan Resistance) Tom Metzger group mainly radio show, not sure their current status.

overall, it depends on your area. I live in a rural area of Florida and there are some KKK but it's not very common.

Most of the Neo Nazis are in the midwest or California.

I hate to link to the ADL because I despise the ADL but it references to most of the nazi groups in the US. Some of the groups listed aren't even Nazi groups.

http://www.adl.org/learn/ext_us/american_front/default.asp?LEARN_Cat=Extremism&LEARN_SubCat=Extremism_in_America&xpicked=3&item=american_front

Their movement section lists group that aren't necessarily nazis either

Maybe I am lucky but I have never seen a Nazi in my life. If I had I am sure I would have noticed and said something.

Although I did notice one night while driving home a car with a '88' sticker in the rear window. I thought it might me a Nazi so I pulled up along side the person. He looked at me and I wasnt sure if it was a Nazi so I just passed him. Maybe it was a Nazi but I only learned about '88' last year.

As a Neo-Nazi symbol

Eighty-eight is used as code among Neo-Nazis to identify each other[1]. H is the 8th letter of the alphabet, so 88 is taken to stand for HH which in turn means Heil Hitler.[2] For example, the number is used in the song "88 rock'n'roll band" by the neo-Nazi group Landser. 14 is used similarly, referring to the so-called "Fourteen Words", often found in combination with 88 (1488, 14/88, etc.). This form of the number has inspired the naming of the groups Column 88, Unit 88 and White Legion 88. It also can refer to the 88 Precepts of the late convicted Order terrorist David Lane.[citation needed]
You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities
Duet 16:13-14

Thats true. There is even a Marijuana party. These parties aren't taken seriously though, they just mock democracy. 0 seats 0 power 0 worry.

Beleive it or not... antisemitism in the US is at an all time low... a recent poll showed less than 10% have unfavorable views of jews... BUT the number is closer to 30% for blacks having unfav views of Jews.

BUT!!! there are still strong remnants of retarded naziism in the far right here... while much of the far-right in EUrope has evolved to become pro-Israel.   However... overall Europe is MUCH MUCH more antisemitic... especially countries like France where Muslims are over 10% of the pop.

There was recently a swastika painted on a synagogue in my town, but otherwise, there's no Nazism or anti-semitism where I live.

There is anti-Semitism everywhere, including the US.  There are nazi-type political parties here.  But this brings up an interesting fact.  In Germany and Austria there are no nazi parties and no holocaust denial--both are illegal there.  However, there where it is illegal, there is still a great deal more anti-Semitism than in America.  Interesting, no?  America is still the least anti-Semitic country in the world, including Israel.

I think when things are banned, you give it "meaning" and hence people are more prone to do tabboo things to rebel against authority. It's human instinct.

In Germany, swastika is banned so people want swastika for shock value no? Same with anything that is banned, people want it because they aren't allowed to have it by authority kind of like how people do drugs because it's illegal and they feel like they are more "hardcore" because their doing something illegal. If we were smart, we would allow the swastika to have no value kind of like how ancient civilizations and their symbols/meaning have dissapeared only because we don't speak of them, but we have not banned their meaning.

That's an interesting theory.  I have to think about that.

You are absolutely 100% RIGHT!!!!!  I have said this over and over again.....   I hate Holocaust deniars and 9/11 deniars... but if we make it illegal for people to beleive in stupidity...they WILL be drawn to this taboo... and even beleive that there are vast conspiracies to cover-up truth!!!

HOWEVER!!! I think that individuals who FOLLOW these dangerous ideologies... whether they be Naziism or Islam SHOULD be monitored by the government, since their ideology is a danger to our safety and the American way.

BTW... I think the best way to combat Naziism is to ridicule it, NOT make it something taboo.   Watch 'American Carol' or 'The Producers'.  They are hillarious as they portray Naziis AND Muslims (In American Carol) and a bunch of bumbling idiots.

No i spent some weeks in Idaho by relatives i thought there would be many only one or 2 groups and there not natives of Idaho they come from all over the U.S. They just made headlines because the Aryan Nations compound was there and the incident with the Weaver Family. Most people in Idaho are libertarians and many pro Israel Christians

I see where my notion came from, thanks for the info.  Of course most people in Idaho are NOT nazis, but still it does say something when the state hosted/hosts (?) the aryan nations compound and otherwise has acquired a reputation for being associated with nazis.  IMHO.
:)that Idaho has many pro Israel Christians and libertarians.

Why not set up our own establishment in an isolated area for pro Kahanist Jews? Perhaps we could setup a donation fund. It wouldn't be illegal, but we'd be far from city where most anti-semitism exists. Perhaps a rural area of Alabama or something?

88 is also the number of some NASCAR driver as well. If the number is at an a angle, it's the NASCAR fan
