Solution to JTF videos being rejected on Zootube
« on: March 23, 2009, 11:59:32 AM »
Okay, I started a channel to upload JTF videos on zootube. Unfortunately, most have been rejected. How this is done is unknown to some, but known by many people. I believe the video and audio contain a certain encode. When uploaded onto zootube, it recognizes either all or some of the exact video file and/or the video and audio encoding. I was thinking if we played around a little bit, we could find loopholes in the zootube processing system. Here are a few suggestions to try:
  • Convert the videos to different formats
  • Alter the the audio or video through "digital watermarking": See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_watermarking
  • Cut the videos into 2 or 3 part segments
  • Download the audio file from the archive and put it over an image

Feel free to post some of your own suggestions or links to download software that will help JTFers. I will look into it later this evening when I get home. Also, be sure to post what does and does not work.

I wish we could encode JTF videos that would make them impossible to delete.

The solution is very simple: All you have to do is run the same exact video through MovieMaker. You do not have to make any changes whatsoever. It takes only a couple of minutes and the reprocessed video will be accepted on zootube/youtube. I have already done this for dozens of rejected videos.

My videos don't get rejected at all because my account is set in the U.S but runing in the UK in the PAL format of MP4 by using the YouTube Downloader.

1. Go to the Cnet website and type in YouTube Download and the update if you have the latest version you should have the update already.

2. set the converter to the fallowing formats.

Ipod the video will run in the MOV format (Example: English1.mov
  Iphone Video (MPEG -4 MP4) English1.mp4
  PSP Video (H.264 MP4) English2.mp4
  Cell Pone Video (H.263 3GP)
Windows Media Video (V.7 WMV) English4.wmv
XVid MPEG -4 Codec (AVI) Eglish5.avi
  MPEG Audio Layer 3 (MP3) English6.mp3

If you watch my videos I'm using MP4 files from PlayStation Portable (PSP)
