I couldn't help but notice this article, which is a ruse to promote socialism here in America by painting it in rosy terms in Germany.

At the top is a picture of a really beautiful German family, who is receiving some government assistance. This is in a way a big misrepresentation because it doesn't show all the filthy Muslims leaching off the system over in Europe.

It goes on to say how much better they have it than Americans do even though both of them are unemployed that their kids still get to play with a Nintendo Wii, and all because of this glorious social net.

Now look at this:

"To boost the birth rate, all families receive around 150 euros ($197) per child per month until they are in their twenties. And, under Chancellor Angela Merkel’s stimulus package, families will get an extra one-off 100 euro ($131) child benefit this July. "

Wow, if this was going to German families like the Fuerstenbergers more often I'd say this was great! However you know this is how Germany is committing suicide! This is how they are feeding the Muslim explosion! None of this is even mentioned in the article! All the article shows is this nice, white, upstanding family. It doesn't show how this very same welfare being given to Muslims could ruin the futures of those pretty little kids in the picture.


They end the article by saying that high taxes are worth all these benefits:

This kind of reporting is their shtick, especially since they are so blatantly in the tank for our inept President.

It's not unexpected, but it just really made me angry because of how devious it is. It shows this nice looking white family rather than the true face of welfare and socialism.

This is not new. There's articles in magazines all over the place with titles like "A Second look a Marx".

Examples being "FP: Foreign Policy Magazine" and "History Today". I myself will never pick up either of those rags ever again.

That's a very good point and probably in the minds of those running our government a viable solution.
That's the terrible part.
There are no limitations or boundaries that our present inept President and his Administration are abiding by or following.

The more news sites/newspapers you read, the easier it becomes to detect this socialist propaganda.  Other newspapers have articles like this, along with the usual illegal alien or fakestinian sob stories.

But as they say, the proof is in the pudding.  If I remember correctly, the unemployment rate in Germany is in the double digits.  The unemployment rate in France is not so good either.  Do you remember how those students rioted a few years ago when the government was trying to pass a law saying an employee could be fired in under a year (or something like that) for poor performance?  In President Bush's second term, it was approximately 6%.  

Now there's something really ridiculous that I just thought of after reading this post.  There used to be a paleoconservative man named Sam Francis, who's now deceased.  Now I skimmed through one his old articles where he wrote that he believed capitalism was opposed to traditionalism.  He objected to the corporate focus on cheap labor, all for the bottom line.  Apparently, he didn't like that the jobs would go to illegal Third Worlders.  Also, it seems others like him, who call themselves "conservative socialists" opposed capitalism because they believe that it's immoral to pay a woman the same as a man with a family for the same job.  

However, it seems he conveniently ignored the fact that socialist countries routinely import Third World immigrants (i.e. Muslims) so that more workers can pay into their social programs.  

Rubystars is absolutely right when she says that Third Worlders benefit most from these social programs.

In my opinion if you do the same work of course you should get paid the same amount of money, and it should be enough to support a household. Many women do use their money to help their families even if they aren't married anyway.

I think you're right Lisa that the more articles you read, the easier it is to see the propaganda. It's funny because in order to read these articles as they were intended, you have to view them through a layer of brainwashing that the authors assume that you have in place.
