Shalom Chaim,

What do you think of Eric Cantor's comparison of Obama to Putin? Particularly as it relates to the bankruptcy of Chrysler and Obama's unconstitutional intervention.

You're a gentleman and a scholar.

Shalom Chaim,

What is the threshhold for using the yimach schmo curse against an evil person? Is severe immorality enough, or do they have to demonstrate actual Nazism? Is it appropriate to use it against an evil rapper who has never actually discussed Jews, for instance? Or a porn actor?

Dear Chaim,

Have you seen kahaneyomi.org, the website with Rabbi Ariel Levy's lessons on Or Haraayon? Are those classes still sponsored by JTF?

Dear Chaim, do you think the island of Bali which is in Indonesia should be granted independence from Indonesia just like East Timor did in 2002? The majority of Bali's population unlike the rest of Indonesia are Hindu and not Muslim. And speaking of Indonesia, can you tell me exactly how many Christians and Hindus have been slaughterd in Indonesia over the years. I can't imagine anyone living with 200 million plus Muslims.

Shalom Chaim,

I'm sorry to trouble you with such a complicated question, but I seek your advice; I really need it right now. I am having what you might call a crisis of faith. I have been thinking a great deal, about history, politics and religion, and have ultimately begun to doubt if I was born into the right religion (Judaism.) Basically, I feel like I do not belong in this religion; I simply do not feel any personal connection to the Jewish religion OR the Jewish people as a culture. When I search my thoughts, I feel as if the Jewish people are somehow doomed; I feel like they are pathologically self-destructive, they NEVER learn from history, and even with the best military in the Middle East, the Israelis continue to tie their own hands and let the Arabs chip away at their land, passively accepting their fate just like the Jews who were herded into gas chambers. It is driving me insane; I WANT to love being Jewish, but I can't reconcile my own values with a people that for all the world seems to voluntarily want to commit suicide. Right now, what I need is spiritual guidance, and I seek it here from you. Please give me your best advice and try to guide me on the right path.

Shalom Chaim

Recent parlimentary elections in Europe has shown a trend of the people choosing candidates who are more "right wing" and less socialist.  New candidates who are against a European Union are also getting voted into office.  In the UK, people voted overwhelmingly for the more "conservative" candidates. To me it seems unusual because the Islamic population have grown tremendously in the last several years.  If that were true, wouldn't more pro-Islamic socialist movements win overwhelmingly?  Am I missing somethign here? What is your take on this?

Thank you

Dr. Dan

Sholom Chaim, I  often go on you tube and search for jtf videos. there are several  posters who have blocked me. I have no idea why I have been blocked, especially when we are preaching to each others  choir. I have reason this  is just one person who is using several different aliases. I hope that this was an honest mistake, Chaim can you please pass this on. I post on you tube using the name ibilldavis.

Until the 1960s the left was very anti homosexual. You mentioned different times that the left-winger Sigmund Freud considered homosexuality to be a perversion.
Another example is the communist Fidel Castro in Cuba who during the 60ies put homosexual people in camps.
A third example is Italian film director Pier Paolo Pasolini who was thrown out from the Communist party because of his homosexuality.
Only from the 1970ies on, the left all of a sudden became very pro homosexual.

What is the reason of this abrupt change?

Kind regards

Hello Chaim. A few weeks I saw on the news that some of obamas stimulus money is coming to NY for job training.  They had a list of who the money would go to and the number 1 and 2 spots were, Disabled and Ex cons. I was surprised the news would put Ex cons on the list. How do you feel that Ex cons even get a chance to train for new work? Thanks and GD bless.

Hello Dearest Chiam,

Would you mind commenting on the prophesy of Zechariah Chapter 12 and its significance to today's attempts by the Hussein creature to divide Jerusalem?  There is a nationally known trends forecaster named Gerald Celente, an American of Italian descent, who regularly appears on all the big TV channels and has about an 85% correct track record of predicting trends.  His latest predictions have become quite dire about the economy and now he introduced the concept of WWWMD III or World War of Weapons of Mass Destruction where terrorists detonate suitcase sized nuclear weapons in cities in asymmetrical warfare against civilians, thus rendering massive militaries like ours impotent.  When he spoke of this, I immediately thought of the "pan of fire" reference in this chapter of the Holy Scripture.  Your prediction about nuclear bombs going off in American cities appears to be foreshadowing just as was your prediction of the terrorists returning to the World Trade Center to finish the job.  I expect that as happened in the Sbarro pizzeria in Jerusalem, shall happen here X 1000 because of our blatant defiance of G-d and his warning against our involvement in splitting Jerusalem.  Naturally the guilty muslim nazis will take the Yassir Arafat defense of feigning sorrow, denying responsibility and blaming America itself for the terrorism because it maintains a presence in the middle east and by supporting Israel, using classic Koranic taqiyya.  If this technique won Arafat a Nobel Prize, rest assured it will be used again when, G-d forbid, they reduce our cities to crackling radioactive ashtrays.

Warmest wishes to you and I wish you good aliyah in the coming period.  I believe today's political climate in Israel is shifting your way in a big way.

Best always,

SFT

Shalom Chaim,

I'm interested in your opinion of Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal as a possible future Presidential and/ or Vice Presidential candidate.     Both in terms of U.S. domestic issues and U.S. foreign policy issues.     I can't recall you discussing Bobby Jindal in any of the past "  Ask JTF "  programs.

Thanks as always,  eb22.

Chaim, it seems like that Israel needs to face a very difficult and key question.  Can it afford the loss of US support?  It seems like the Government assumes the answer is no and will concede anything to keep it.

From the point of view of the outsider, the Arabs have 99 plus percent of the land, they have 99% of the population and they have the oil.  These are not insignificant but beyond that the Arabs offer very little.

Israel needs to have a Manhattan like project to make sure that Israel can survive the loss of American support.  A crash program to build a larger domestic arms industry that can provide all of Israel's military needs so that there is not a panic when Obama cuts off helicopters or when Bush cuts off spare parts.  As a side benefit this will make other nations indebted to Israel because if the Israelis produce large military items they will probably be superior to what is otherwise available and nations will need Israeli arms.

Israel needs to stop giving away land and further reducing their strategic depth.  Every time they give away strategic territory, they hurt themselves in many ways.  They have a lower margin of safety.  This means they have to attack the enemy sooner if threatened and if history has shown anything they will not get points for having given away territory and then gotten attacked anyway.  So they hurt themselves diplomatically in the process despite promises of the opposite result from self hating Jews.  With less land as a cushion Israel needs to spend more money on training and arms and needs outside powers to help in its defense (not that they ever do).  Now there are international forces in the Sinai and Lebanon supposedly protecting Israel.  I would trade all the UN forces for two acres of territory.

Israel needs a crash program in energy alternatives to oil.  If they concentrate on improvement in fuel cells they can add quite a bit.  They should also build nuclear plants so that 100% of its electricity is generated by non fossil fuel sources.  In fact if they have excess power they should start selling electricity to neighboring countries to give them leverage over those nations if they do not behave (in other words do to them what the USA does to Israel).

I just hope someone in Israel is reading this and laughing because they have had such a program in place for 10 years and I don't know about it because it is not public or because I missed the reports of it.  Unfortunately I get the impression that the survival plan for Israel is to kiss the feet (and other unpleasant anatomy parts) of American Presidents whether they are relatively friendly (relatively is the key word) such as Bush or a virtual outright enemy such as Hussain.
We all need to pray for Barack Obama, may the Lord provide him a safe move back to Chicago in January 2,013.

I grew up in a secular household and had a minimal reformed (deformed) Jewish upbringing for a couple of years until I had my Bar Mitzvah and then quit for many decades.  I have recently had my religious sensibility awakened through your website.  I had a circumcision in the hospital when I was a couple of days old by an ordinary obstetrician; it was not a religious bris.  Is there anything that I must do to make it halachically OK or can I stay pat?

Chaim,
The other day I rode passed crown heights and a black guy just jumped in front of my car. Maybe this is what happened to that Hassidic Jewish man in that case long ago.

I said to myself, "how can these Jews live so close to low class blacks." Are you familiar with this area?  I noticed on the black side of Eastern Pkwy there are many synagogues now converted into "churches." It's so sad. When did the Jews leave these areas? I also noticed that in East New york there are many abandoned synagogues. When and why did the Jews leave these areas? Was there a time when there were Jews all along the Entire Eastern pkwy? How and when did so many low class blacks take over these areas?

Dear Chaim,
I am sure you know this story of King Saul and the Profit Samuel. After Samuel dies, King Saul wears a costume and go's to see 'ESHET BA'ALAT HAOV' in Ein Dor. To make the story short, She bring Samuel from the ground and in the talk between Saul and Samuel, Samuel tell's Saul that he will loose the war with the PLISHTIM because of it is the will of G-D and he also said MACHAR ATA U-BANECHA IMI. I understand that Saul is punished - severely, because of the disobedience regarding destroying AMALEK but why are Saul's children punished? If you calculate logically Saul's children die very young! Why did Samuel not say MACHAR ATA IMI, why did he add ATA U-BANECHA IMI.
Long live JTF!

Dear Chaim,
How did Susan Sontag get away with calling white people "the cancer of human history"? I think it is particularly fitting that HaShem ended her hideous life by giving her a deadly form of leukemia. I pray that she suffered miserably, and that her lesbian wife Annie Liebowitz and her evil daughter Deborah follow her down into the fiery hell of Gehenom. In fact, the sooner, the better.
Besides you and the JTF, can you remember any other public figures taking a strong stance against Sontag's malice? Also, someone told me that evil Jews who go to hell do not have to remain there for eternity - is this true? I hope not. I would like to imagine that Susan Sontag is burning forever in esh Gehenom.
warm regards from your devoted JTFer,

Dear Mr. ben Pessach,

what is the cause, why the majority of Jews and Christians want to archieve peace on eye height with the Muslims and are making advance payments to the Muslims, althrough Muslims have proven countless times not to interested in it, but have shown to be interested in superiority?

Sincerly,

Ulli
