My grandmother just passed.

I just got the bad news.  She was nearly 95 and lived a full life.  A wonderful person and great mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and wife.  She was also actively involved in several Zionists groups in the 30's.  Her generation really deserves lots of respect.  I wish I had learned more about her life when she was alive.  :(

My condolences to you and your family Briann...

It is wonderful that you and your family had these many years to learn from her example. Your family is blessed to have such longevity genes. May all your family live so long.

Briann,   my deepest condolences to you and your family. 


I hope that your Grandmother didn't suffer any pain.     I'm confident she will remain an inspiration to many,  many people for a very long time to come.

Thank you all.  I do plan to spend a little more time researching her life.  She thankfully didn't have a painful death, and she died in her sleep.

So sorry Briann, my heart goes out to you at this time. Please do not put off researching more about her past, you will be amazed at what a wonderful woman she was and feel so proud!
