I wouldn't think so.  I know it was founded by a Harvard senior that is now in his late twenties to keep up with old classmates.

I will post a simple warning. I have heard many bad things about facebook from a Rabbi whom I listen to on the internet.

Rabbi Zecharia Wallerstein has spoken many, many times about the dangers of facebook. It seems he is mainly advising young girls and boys to avoid putting their personal information on the network. He also says that meeting people of the opposite sex often leads to inappropriate relationships. He has told multiple stories about losing yeshiva boys and girls to bad influences because they met bad people on facebook.

Having said this, I realize that most people reading this at JTF that facebook seems like nothing to worry about. I have never gone there and have no need to meet people who may have bad intentions. JTF and my blog are more than enough exposure for me....
