I believe that Huckabee supports Israel because he believes in G-d and in the Bible. That is the best reason to support Israel.
Whether Huckabee is tough or not, I believe that he would not pressure Israel to surrender Jewish land and that he would not pressure Israel not to attack Iran's nuclear bomb-making program. So for four years, Jews would not have to worry about American pressure.
Some of our members are concerned that Huckabee was not a real conservative when he was governor of Arkansas. I agree with that. Huckabee raised taxes and increased spending and freed convicted murderers - obviously I strongly oppose these types of policies.
But sadly, the other candidates are no better.
Sarah Palin, whom I like, has said that she favors legalizing illegal aliens. And she supported the Bush socialist stimulus package, which was a big ripoff of the taxpayers.
Mitt Romney was an outright leftist when he ran for office in Massachusetts. He supported abortion with gusto, went to a fundraiser for Planned Parenthood, and promised the homosexuals that he would fight for them more vigorously than Ted Kennedy. Romney also endorsed the concept of legalizing illegal aliens.
None of the candidates are real conservatives. It's sad but true.
However, Huckabee's pro-Israel stance would bring G-d's blessings to America.
And Huckabee also has the best position on energy issues, which is essential for defeating Islam. Huckabee advocated creating a crash program to achieve complete energy independence in 10 years. Huckabee spoke about the need to get us away from oil - which if implemented, would cripple the Muslims.
Huckabee is strongly pro-life, strongly pro-Second Amendment and supported South Carolina retaining the Confederate flag.
Huckabee was also the only major presidential candidate who advocated abolishing the national income tax - which would be great if we could get Congress to go along.
