Israeli/Jewish artists?

So I was reading about Aliza Olmert and apparently many Israelis consider this garbage to be art (WTF?)





That's embarrassing.

Some of the garbage in Israel that is called art is just splotches of paint on canvas, are there any examples of talented Israeli/Jewish artists?

Maybe my artistic tastes are different, but a lot of the European artwork I seen looks very realistic and well drawn, is there a similar style in Israel? The drawings I see are well..different I guess you could say.
