What exactly is "greater Jordan?" No such thing. Many arabs want a "Greater Syria." And that aspiration goes back to the days of the Mandate Period. But why would Iran allow/encourage a Free Kurdistan? If anything, they would never want that. Nobody wants Kurds to have independence accept Kurds. There are Kurds in/from Iran as well. There is a reason they don't currently have an independent homeland. But if they did get one, that would be a good thing. They are pro western and would be a nice bufferzone against the border of Iran and a hostile shia zone in Iraq (Iran-controlled?). They might even be pro Israel, and allow Israel to use their airspace, better chances than Turkey or the US control currently. And I don't think Kurds are islamic fanatics either, they have a secular culture.
