Why are they keeping Sharon "alive"?

What do they ie Olmert and the eminence grise behind him, gain by keeping him alive?

Are there still legal implications? eg in the way Olmert took over and won the election, or as to who takes over, Peres or Livni, if Olmert falters himself, by the fact that Sharon, although incapacitated, is still nominally alive etc?

Or do they think that in the minds of those whom they call primitivim ie most Israeli Sefardi nominal rightists, does just the fact that he's still alive have an important effect on the national psyche, that the "strong man", that the great general", that the "Yom Kippur War" hero, that the "101 Brigade" leader is somehow still in charge?

They should quickly disconnect sharons life support to allow him to enter hell where he belongs. I don't care if he did some good in his life, the evil more than canceled it out. In any even he can be fed to the animals at the local zoo, I am sure no pet food would need to be purchased for months because of his exceptional size.
