My Esrog
« on: September 30, 2009, 02:22:39 PM »
Hello,

I just picked up my Esrog set from Chabad... I think I got a very nice Esrog {I will take pictures soon} and I have a special Esrog case for it {which I bought a couple of years ago}.

I am wondering what others here spent on their Esrog? I paid $50 for the complete set...

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities
Duet 16:13-14

Here is a handy site with all the Halachas of Sukkot:

And Aish.com has some wonderful videos which explain some of these laws:

Todah Rabbah Mo2388!

I am so glad that I got my 4 species but I was unable to build a Sukkot in my yard this year. I will have to eat at Chabads Sukkot which I just saw this morning.

U mean sukkah. Singular- Sukkah, plural- sukkot.
