PS: I think it is a great idea to promote AH as a moderator...

But some moderators should be made global mods too...

I have waited for hours for volunteers, but there were only two. Steven and Americanhero. And I thought you like to be moderator.

BTW the problem was that we NEED MORE! Because of the trolls. So GK and AH are both often online.

Is this being done in any official way or is this just a trial balloon. I thought it was for a moderator not global moderator. I think we would all like a shot at being kicked upstairs.

We don't have enough moderators. We need more globals who can ban too. And we need often online people.

The poll has already started, I think we shouldn't start a new one. It is great.

American Hero always does seem to know what's going on and that's great. I think he'd be able to spot the trolls very quickly.

Yes.... I have had several heads up from AH that warned me of problems that were moments away. I don't know what system he uses but he keeps close track of whats going on on the forum. His quick action has helped me remove offensive posts on more them one occasion.

You guys, I'm not sure I like this thread.  I see this is becoming a popularity contest.  The ultimate decision as to who becomes a global moderator rests with Chaim.  So Americanhero, German Kahanist and Muman, what you can do is write Chaim a private message asking to be considered for the position(s). 

Otherwise, if it's OK with you guys, I would like to lock this thread shortly.
