So am I. Recently two German scientists along with 2 British and an Italian said the highs of the warming are about to pass and it might become colder as the the signs for global cooling are visible.
Don't forget tha Earth was already much hotter than today. We are coming out of a cold period. The Vikings were doing agriculture in Greenland more than 1,000 years ago. Southern Europe had no real winters and Israel was an a tropical place (no forests, but the average temperatures).
I am fine with both scenarios. If the world was already hotter it means that it can still stand a bit more of heating. And I am not so much into long winters anyway!
If it gets colder, it may be okay also. Then the winter might become at least somewhat dryer!
But I have a solution for the CO2 problem. Just fill the Oceans with concrete. They produce over 80% of the World's CO2!
