Antisemitism/Jew-Hate on the Rise... Not so much 'Islamophobia'

This is not surprising... as much as the muslim world is crying "Islamophobia' they are crying crocodile tears.... According to the latest stastics Islamophobia is on the decline {from 2007} and Antisemitism is on the way up... 67% of reported hate crimes are against Jews.... Only 6.9% of reported hate crime is against Islam.... Sounds like the Jew hate far outways the Islam phobia...

Debbie Schlussel reports that 67% of the hate crimes in the United States are against Jews. That means that there are far more hate crimes against Jews than there are against any other ethnic group.

    That’s right. A whopping 66.69%–or just over 2/3rds–of America’s religion-based hate crime incidents are committed against Jews. But, hey, there’s no anti-Semitism. I’m just imagining it. The real condition afflicting America is Islamophobia, right? Let’s ignore that only 6.91% of hate crime incidents were against Muslims, with Catholics very close behind comprising 4.94% of hate crime incident victims. Sadly, some Catholic leaders look the other way on anti-Semitism (more on that below).

    Another fact that is very inconvenient to Muslim propaganda is the fact that hate crimes against Jews and Catholics are growing, but hate crimes against Muslims, not. In 2007, there were 969 reported hate crime incidents against Jews in America. In 2008, it’s 1,013. In 2007, there were 61 anti-Catholic incidents. In 2008, there were 75. For Muslims, in 2007 there were 115 reported incidents against them. In 2008, it’s 105. And all of this is despite the fact that unlike other groups, Islamic groups work overtime to get alleged Islamic victims to report hate crimes.

Read the whole thing and look at the charts. 'Islamophobia' is a figment of your imagination. Anti-Semitism is not. I am not shocked. Are you?

This needs to be interpreted correctly.  Firstly,  negative attitudes towards Islam are much much higher than negative attitudes towards Jews in America....(Not in the world)  HOWEVER, those who hate/disslike Islam don't commit so called hate crimes against Isalm ... but those who are anti-semites are typically fanatic and are much more likely to commit these crimes.

Ive seen recent polls where nearly 50% of Americans have negative attitudes towards Muslims and when asked the same about Jews, the number was around 13% (9% for white Christians) 30% for Negroes.

I even saw one poll that said that almost 40% of Americans believe that Muslims should be required to carry identification that shows that they follow Islam.  (I think they should also require sex offenders to do the same)

They pick on synagogues because they know jews are peaceful people who won't do anything back.

Yes very true.....I think most Americans have been raised to be tolerant of people of different cultures. Even if they have a deep dislike or distrust they seldom voice that opinion openly. I always like to test people I come in contact with on their feelings about muslims. If I am reading a paper and there is an article about muslim activity I make a small remark and watch the reaction I get from the other person or people around. Most times they will shake their head in agreement or comment. The thing here in America is that most Americans are not activist and expect Uncle Sam to protect them against the evils of the world. Muslims right now in America are like roach's starting infesting a house. The homeowner knows they are around but but there are not enough of them around yet to make the home unlivable. As for antisemitism being on the rise it might be but I think the increase is due to the increasing numbers muslims and blacks who are increasingly following select parts of the muslim doctrine. Unlike most  normal Americans that group is activist and is more likely to let their feelings be known.
