Why I favor Giuliani at this point
« on: April 24, 2007, 07:21:29 AM »
Who else am I going to vote for ?
There's absolutely no way I could vote for any candidate of the Democrat party. The thought of voting for a candidate from the party that proudly accepts and includes Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Cynthia Mckinney, Maxine Waters and numerous other Black Nazis as part of it's core is abhorrent to me.
Since the possibility of a 3rd party candidate winning the White House at this point in time is extremely remote or bordering on the impossible, that leaves the Republican Party.
Sure, the Republican Party isn't a much better alternative than the Dhimmirats, but make no mistake, it is better (or the lesser of two evils).
So let's take a look at the viable Republican candidates.
Romney ?
McCain ?
Thompson ?
Giuliani ?
Those seem to be the big 4 at this moment.
It would be nice to see Tancredo, Santorum and others enter the fray but that's not likely. I'd have welcomed a Tom Delay candidacy but that's not going to happen either.
It's extremely likely the eventual Republican nominee will be one of the four aforementioned candidates.
I eliminate Mccain automatically based on his immigration policy and the rumor he thought of joining forces with John Kerry.
I'm not all that familiar with Romney, but it's my understanding he was elected Governor on a liberal platform in Massachussets so I'm automatically wary of him.
Not sure where Thompson stands on many issues, but in any event he's got several factors working against him, such as a late start, funding and health questions.
So for me, that pretty much leaves Giuliani by default.
Yes, Giuliani shares many of the faults and questions mentioned above but he does have some positives that lead me to support him as the lesser of the evils.
I think it's generally accepted he did a good job of cleaning up New York City.
Most importantly to me, he showed some backbone when he threw the AIDS ridden dirtbag Arafat out of a concert and when he told the Saudi bastard to shove his money up his sphincter after 9/11.
To me, that showed some character or at least a modicum of a moral compass.
To summarize, at this point in time Giuliani is the most viable Republican candidate and probably the individual that I would be least disappointed to see as America's next President out of the major candidates.

One thing is for sure, defeating the clever Black Muslim Obama and keeping him out of the White House is of paramount importance to the USA, Israel, and the world.

I agree!  I heard an amazing conversation at work early on when the media started to talk about Obama as a candidate.
A group of men and woman were talking about how it would be great to see him elected.
I asked them what they knew about him.
They knew nothing of him accept that he is young, black and has 'charisma'.
How scary is that?
Come to think of it Fruit may be right.
The most outspoken of the group was a young blond woman!!!!  :o
We are in a whole heap of trouble.

Barack Osama basically said that he'd disband the US military.

He also stated in Iowa last month that he doesn't think the US has been generous enough to Palestinians.  He ignores the facts that the government has given those terrorists funding and weapons to the Fatah party that the media likes to label as moderates.  The weapons then get into the hands of terrorists and are used against Israel.  Barack Osama would only make things worse.

The problem is how to inform the uninformed.  You will never learn that from the mainstream media.

Not necessarily.  Because Giuliani is pro-choice on abortion, many people at a very conservative forum (freerepublic.org) support Fred Thompson.

Romney is very intelligent and is a great speaker.  He's great at running a business and was considered to have saved the 2002 Utah Winter Olympics.

Democrats would probably try to make Romney out to be a flip flopper.  Over the years, he's changed his positions on many issues.  In the early 90's, he challenged Ted Kennedy for his Senate seat and lost.  He claimed to have been more liberal than Kennedy so he tried to pander to the liberals in MA. It doesn't make much sense why he ran on as a Republican in that election if he was claiming to be more liberal than Kennedy.

Here's a list someone has about Romney:  http://www.freerepublic.com/~unmarkedpackage/

I would love for Fred Thompson to win the nomination, one can only hope. But knowing how the elite establishment is? Know what I mean they would never promote a hardcore conservative.  I mentioned a dream ticket once... Since I also like Duncan Hunter his big obsticle most likely is name recognition so, how about this.

THOMPSON/HUNTER 08 maybe as VP Hunter can get that expirience and name recognition.

Hunter also served in the US Army (Vietnam) with honor, unlike John Kerry, whose goal was to undermine the military.

The biggest hurdle the GOP is facing is the mess Bush has made with Iraq and Illegal Immigraton.. We got a battle on our hands but the best we can get is not the best we want.  I would love for Hunter to get the nomination but his chances are very very slim.  Cause the media promotes evil.  It does look like Rudy will be the nomination unfortunatly if this is the direction we have to support him to make sure Obama doesn't hang  coconuts all over the Oval Office. Or that socialist creature Hillary send this country nose diving faster then what her perverted husband did.

Thompson was a no good senator, why would I want him to be president or vice president, he has a bad record in the senate.
Was never there to vote on important issues.

Conservatives can't stand McCain.  When Thompson was in the Senate, he was similar to McCain.  He campaigned for him in 2000.  So if conservatives can't stand McCain, why do so many like Thompson?  It really makes no sense.

Would you be willing to post the truth about Thompson on the freerepublic.com forum?

They've dissected every detail of Giuliani.  It only seems fair if they do that for Thompson, before they all vote for someone who they'll later regret.

They have a list of recent articles about Thompson and most of the conservatives at freerepublic give too much praise to Thompson.

What disappoints me about Giuliani is that he wanted NYC to be a sanctuary city and wouldn't allow otherwise.

What caused Giuliani to figure out that Arafat was evil?  This matters because as of now, he probably thinks Abbas is a "moderate", just like the rest of the politicians view him.  Conservatives need to get Giuliani and other politicians (if possible) to see that Abbas is no different than Arafat.

I have not liked guliani since i saw photos of him in drag marching in the gay pride parade.  I'm sorry...I can't see voting for a president who would consider dressing in drag.  On a positive note:

PRAISE JESUS..THE REPUBLICANS KILLED THE IMMIGRATION BILL THIS EVENING!   IT'S DEAD! WHOPPPEEEE.....EVEN MEL MARTINEZ VOTED AGAINST CLOTURE!   I MIGHT EVEN HAVE TO KISS THE OLE F**t... jAZZZZZZZZ.

Good Post.

While Guiliani is certainly a viable candidate for the GOP nomination because of his immense popularity after ISLAM reared its DESPICABLE ugly head out of the Gates of Death, Guiliani is a free trade anarchist with no moral backbone.  Arab sheiks would continue to grow in power with oil revenue up to their DEMENTED eye-sockets !

The American People demand energy independence from the TERRORISTS who have murdered their families !

Former Senator and recently retired Law and Order star Fred Thompson has shown his commitment to drilling in Alaska's ANWR oil field to decrease our dependency on the Sheik Arab TERRORISTS.

I urge you to analyze Thompson's U.S. Senate voting record for yourselves at:

Thnx... 8)
SUBMISSION IS DEATH !

Drilling in ANWR is more or less a red herring issue. While I'm for it, it's important to keep in mind that even if every drop of oil in ANWR could be harnessed immediately, it would provide only a very tiny fraction of our needs, and do next to nothing to reduce our dependency on Moozie oil.

The key to energy independence is to develop alternative sources of energy.

While I'm wary of too much government intervention in any endeavor, it's fairly obvious that a crash energy program, along the lines of the Manhattan project, will have to be instituted in order for the USA to become energy independent. Such a program would almost certainly require huge amounts of government intervention and funding and be centered around developing the vast amounts of tar sands, shale, clean coal, solar, geothermal, wind, and other energy resources and technologies.

With that in mind, let's take a look at one of Thompson's votes:
Voted YES on defunding renewable and solar energy. (Jun 1999)

I'm not saying that this vote was necessarily wrong, but it is something to take note of.

I wouldn't get too carried away with Thompson's or any other candidate's commitment to energy independence until one of them presents a comprehensive, detailed plan to realistically achieve this crucial objective.

Talk is cheap. Actions speak. The word on Thompson was that he was a very lazy legislator. Sometimes this is actually good, the less the government does, the better. But I'm afraid this probably isn't true when it comes to achieving energy independence.

I'd suggest not getting overly enamored with Thompson on the issue of energy independence until we see his plan, as well as those of the other candidates.

Should read into nuclear energy into this country.  It is very clean and very cheap.  The one hurdle of course is the envirormental patients that start whining.  They were whining about ANWR saying the ice will get dirty.
